Sunmaya trains full time at altitude, in Himalayan foothills, in a running camp, where she also lives. Training miles are plentiful, but food is not: “I get so hungry sometimes, I sleep to forget the hunger” said Sunmaya once. When Sunmaya and Richard Bull, the founder of Trail Running Nepal, flew back home to Kathmandu – a reception was prepared at the airport for Sunmaya by her mentor – Mira Rai. Well done, Sunmaya!
